It was my great <br /> pleasure to help the City apply for a Source Water Protection Award. It was a competitive field this year,and <br /> Pequot Lakes not selected for the award, although it is clear that the city has worked hard to implemenfi <br /> source water protection activities.We encourage you to continue collaborating with the city and to consider <br /> submitting a nomination again in the future. <br /> Your nomination highlights significant achievements in the Pequot Lakes community, including collaborating <br /> with MNDOT and others on the Highway 371 expansion project,sealing wells in close proximityto its source of <br /> supply, and monitoring tank placement of used motor oil.We appreciate Pequot Lakes'continued dedication <br /> to source water protection. <br /> The winner of this years'SWP Award was the city of Mankato.
