A. Advertisin� devices shall be allowed as follows: <br /> (i) Size: The maximum si�n area for anv one face shall not exceed <br /> 40o square feet. Such m�imum size limitation shall a�plv to each <br /> face of a sign structure. S�ns ma,Y be placed back-to-back. "V" t}�e <br /> construction shall be allowed not to exceed �o degrees. All square <br /> footage area requirements shall include border and exclude <br /> structural su�ports. No stacked signs shall be allowed. <br /> Construction shall be on a monopole or double post. <br /> (2) Location: An advertising device shall be located onlv in the <br /> Advertisin�Device Overlay District. <br /> �q) Height: The maximum hei�ht of an advertisin�device shall not <br /> exceed �o feet above road�;rade or a maximum of 4o feet above <br /> local grade. <br /> C�) Spacin�: No advertising device shall be located closer than <br /> 2,00o feet to anv other offsite si,�n or billboard. <br /> (6) Li�hting: All illumination of advertising devices shall be <br /> downward directionaL <br /> �) Displav: An advertising de��ice shall be either fixed or di�ital <br /> displav. Color shall be earth tone, defined as any of various soft <br /> colors like those found in nature in soil, ve�etation, etc., especiallX <br /> brown,tan, or beige. Digital Displays shall: <br /> a. The full sign imag,e or an�portion thereof must have a <br /> minimum duration of�� seconds; <br /> b. Bri�htness: The di it� al displav must not exceed a maximum <br /> illumination of�,000 nits (candelas per square meter) <br /> during daXl�ht hours and a maximum illumination of�oo <br /> nits (candelas �er square meter) between dusk to dawn as <br /> measured from the Sign's face at maximum brightness; <br /> c. Dimmer Control: Di itg al display signs must have an <br /> automatic dimmer control to �roduce a distinct illumination <br /> change from a higher illumination level to a lower level for <br /> the time�eriod between a�2 —hour before sunset and a 1/2- <br /> hour after sunrise. <br /> d, Fluctuating or Flashing Illumination: No portion of anv <br /> digital dis�lati� ma�T fluctuate in light intensitX or use <br /> intermittent strobed or movi�li�ht or light that chan�es in <br /> intensi in sudden transitorv bursts, streams, zooms, <br /> 2 <br />
