AGENDA ITEM #10.3 <br /> city of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes= - <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Nancy Malecha � <br /> Date: May 1, 2018 I' <br /> Subiect: Ordinance Amendment <br /> Report: City Code Chapter 9, Article 4 Regulating and Licensing the Sale and <br /> Consumption of Malt Liquor, 3.2% Malt Liquor and Intoxicating Liquor within the <br /> City has been revised to include language on brew pubs, brewers, taprooms, <br /> growlers, and microdistilleries. This Ordinance has also been revised to increase , <br /> the number of allowable off sale liquor licenses in the City from 2 to 4 and to <br /> change the license requirements next to churches and schools. The attached ' <br /> changes noted in red are additions and strikethroughs are deletions. This ordinance <br /> amendment has been reviewed by the City Attorney. <br /> Council Action Requested: � <br /> 1. Council motion amending City Code Section 9.4 Regulating and � <br /> Licensing the Sale and Consumption of Malt Liquor, 3.2% Malt Liquor ' <br /> and Intoxicating Liquor within the City. <br /> 2. Council motion authorizing the summary publication. A 4/Sths vote by <br /> the Council is needed to publish the summary publication. <br />
