Page 1 of 1 <br /> MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES TCI STEERING COMMITTEE <br /> WEDNESDAY,APRIL 18,2018 <br /> PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Mark Jurchen, Economy Task Force and Pequot Lakes Economic Development <br /> Commission;Chris Lindholm, Pequot Lakes Schools; Nancy Malecha,City of <br /> Pequot Lakes;Chris Monroe, Pequot Lakes Chamber;and Nancy Adams, Mayor <br /> Others Present: Theresa Bourke,Echo/Journal <br /> 1. Call Meetin�to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Steerin�Committee Dissolution <br /> The Steering Committee discussed the possibility of dissolving the Committee and incorporating <br /> it under the Greater Pequot Lakes Community Foundation. Discussion ensued regarding the <br /> role of the Foundation;the makeup of the Foundation's Advisory Board;the Foundation's <br /> mission,vision,and funding priorities; promoting the continuation of the TCI goals and <br /> objectives at the task force level;and the collaboration of task forces with comparable City or <br /> School boards and commissions. <br /> A consensus of the Steering Committee agreed to dissolve the Pequot Lakes TCI Steering <br /> Committee with the understanding that the great work can continue at the task force level in <br /> collaboration with comparable City or School boards and commissions with potential funding <br /> sources through the Greater Pequot Lakes Community Foundation. <br /> 3. Task Force Updates <br /> The Steering Committee reviewed the goals and projects of the task forces as defined through <br /> the TCI process and noted that many of these goals have been accomplished or are in the <br /> process. The Committee noted that these accomplishments should be celebrated and <br /> recognized. � <br /> 4. Communitv Celebration <br /> A consensus of the Steering Committee agreed to recognize the goals accomplished by the PL <br /> TCI with the Community Picnic on July 10th in Trailside Park. <br /> 5.
