We have had the <br /> opportunity to contact the DNR regarding the maximum width of the landings and <br /> stairs within the Shoreland Area for planned unit developments and whether or not the <br /> roof of the water oriented accessory structure may be used as a landing. <br /> The DNR has determined that the stairs and landings as constructed are reasonable in <br /> size and appropriate for the need. However,the roof of the water oriented accessory <br /> structure may not be used as a deck or landing area. At our meeting you asked about the <br /> possibility of constructing a pitched roof on the e�cisting water oriented accessory <br /> structure.
