The expense thereof shall be billed to the property owner and sha11 constitute a lien upon such realty. An Administrative Citation is separate and in no way defrays the expense of correcting the nuisance. Citation Amount Due: $100.00 Payment Due By: Payment may be presented in person or by way of First Class Mail in the form of cash,check or money order,payable to: City of Pequot Lakes,4638 Main Street,Pequot Lakes,MN 56472. For uncorrected or continued violations, the City may correct the violation and assess the charges for doing so. An additional citation will be issued if the violation is not corrected by the re-inspection date. This citarion is issued pursuant to the voluntary procedures established in Pequot Lakes City Code Sections 7-1.1—7-1.10 as an alternative to criminal prosecution or civil legal action. When a citation is issued,you must coaect the violation and may either pazticipate in the City's voluntary administrative enforcement process or provide notice of your withdrawal from such process in writing to the City,in which case you may be immediately subject to criminal prosecution or civil legal action. If you wish to contest the violation,you may request an administrative conference by contacting the official who signed tlus citation below within 10 days from the date of the citation issuance. The purpose of the administrative conference is to determine whether or not a violation(s)of the City Code existed,and whether any settlement options may be offered as an alternative to the payment of the entire amount of the fine. If the matter is not resolved in the administrative conference,you may fiuther request a hearing with the City Council to review the outcome of the administrative conference.If you request an administrative conference,a notice will be mailed to you with the date/time/location of the conference. If you cannot attend on the scheduled date,you must request a different date 15 days prior to the date of the conference.
