Operations and Maintenance:
• The monthly MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report was completed and submitted as
required.
• March 1St, Lee and Anthony with Ritter & Ritter Co. jetted and televised our sewer
main on West Lake Street.
• March 13th, while doing manhole checks, noticed that the manholes by Tower Square
were backing up. Jetted the lines and removed lots of sand and grease. Started adding
enzymes to help break up any additional grease.
• March 17th, pulled pump #2 at Main L.S. and removed debris. Lots of debris stuck in
the impeller. Wear ring almost gone.
• Also on the 17th, I pulled our grinder pump again at the Water Plant. The alarm light
came on because the pump quit working. Took it apart to see if there was anything
caught in the impeller, but it's fine. Not exactly sure what's wrong with it. Called
Northern Water Works and they shipped us another loaner pump. They will need to
service ours again.
• March 29th, Kent with NorthStar Pump serviced all five of our lift stations. We will
need to replace the impeller on pump #2 at the Main L.S. They will send us a quote on
all repairs.
Report Submitted By: Tina Nolden (Water/Wastewater Operator)
-- Please call me if you have any questions /comments.
218 -568 -5604 or 218- 820 -2125
