OR <br />Pequot Lakes Police Dept. <br />Report to the City Council <br />March 31, 2010 <br />For the month of March the Department has logged more than 477 individual ICRs. <br />Current Activities: <br />Also for the month, the Reserves and Fulltime Officers have conducted 354 individual security checks <br />of businesses and homes throughout the month, with 5 open doors found at area businesses. <br />The Reserves are preparing to assist with Safety Town this spring with Community Education as well <br />as gearing up to assist the Police Dept in improving Dog Ordinance Compliance throughout the city. <br />The new squads are in and are currently being outfitted. Two of them are now in service. <br />Training: <br />Mar 23rd –26 1h Officer Gartner attended Leadership training at Fort Ripley. <br />Mar 27th Reserve Officers Borleis, Berns, Freiermuth and Jarosh, along with Officer <br />Petersen attended the State Reserve Conference. <br />Significant Cases: <br />The Dept is currently working on a couple narcotic cases with Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />CYV� e" -i^— <br />Jerry Braam <br />Chief of Police <br />
