Pequ�t L�►kes Police Monthly Report <br /> Februarv 2018: <br /> During the month of February(1n-28th),the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record of <br /> 316 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Burglary <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • EMS (medical call) <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Parking Complaint <br /> • Property Damage Accident <br /> • Vehicle Off Road <br /> Notable Calls <br /> On 2/3/18, Officer Matt lorgens was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle that failed to <br /> signal at an intersection and failed to stop at a stop sign. Female driver was ultimately arrested <br /> for driving after revocation, no proof of insurance, open bottle and a Crow Wing County <br /> misdemeanor warrant. <br /> On 2/17/18, Officer Ryan Franz assisted the Cass County Sheriff's Office on a structure fire. <br /> Along with a Crow Wing County deputy, OfFicer Franz responded to a house to alert them that <br /> multiple out buildings behind them were fully engulfed. OfFicer Franz stood by until Cass <br /> deputies arrived on the scene. <br /> On 2/17/18, OfFicer Sheri Fyle was working a Towards Zero Deaths (TZD) shift in the Garrison <br /> area. OfFcer Fyle conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speed on Hwy 169. When speaking <br /> with the driver, OfFicer Fyle noticed an odor of alcohol on his breath. She then asked him to <br /> step out of the vehicle and perform field sobriety testing.The driver was arrested for 4t" degree <br /> DWI. <br /> On 2/19/18, Officer Matt Jorgens observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign and failed to <br /> signal a turn. Officer Jorgens activated his emergency lights and siren to stop the vehicle but the <br /> driver accelerated. OfFicer Jorgens followed the vehicle in a short pursuit when it pulled into a <br /> driveway.The driver was arrested for felony fleeing and the vehicle is pending forFeiture. <br />
