City of
-
Pequott
Lakes—
M
AGENDA ITEM #5.3
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Date: April 6, 2010
Subject: Highway 371 — Jim Hallgren (MnDOT)
A. Amendment to MOA Regarding Pine River
Depot
B. Update from Jim Hallgren Regarding
Municipal Consent Process
Report:
A. MnDOT is requesting new signatures on a revised
MOA regarding the Pine River Depot. This agreement was
first adopted in 2005 and then amended in 2009. The 2009
amendment was never fully executed by MnDOT and
therefore, MN State Preservation Office is requesting that it
be resigned with a few amendments relating to the Pine
River Depot. Jim Hallgren has indicated that this next
amendment is very minor and will have no affect on the
City of Elk River. Jim Hallgren will be present to discuss
this issue with the Council. Attached is the proposed
amendment and the original agreement.
