d. Council Meeting Liaisons <br /> Dawn Bittner presented the schedule for Liaisons at Council Meetings, reminding the <br /> Planning Commission Members if they can't attend their scheduled,trade with someone <br /> else. <br /> e. Road Specifications Committee <br /> Dawn Bittner asked for 2 volunteers to serve on the Road Specifications Committee <br /> recently formed by the City Council. Planning Commission Member Wilson volunteered <br /> and is available any time. Planning Commission Member Birch volunteered and is <br /> available after 4:0o PM. <br /> Planning Commission Member Wilson stated it has been some time since the <br /> Wilderness Resort Villas Landscape Committee has met. Bittner stated she will review <br /> the members and schedule in the spring. <br /> f. Potential Development South of Business Park <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Economic Development Commission is elcploring the <br /> possibility of developing the former spray irrigation field south of the Business Park. <br /> Potential layouts were provided. <br /> Chair Hallan stated the City should consider screening, layout,buffering, etc. in the <br /> transition area between light industrial uses to the north and proposed commercial uses <br /> to the south. <br /> Rezoning was discussed. Placing the ball fields in the northern area would make them <br /> more walkable. <br /> Chair Hallan stated this is one of the larger parcels available for development between <br /> Baxter and Jenkins along the highway. <br /> g. 2oi8 Project Priorities <br /> Dawn Bittner updated the Planning Commission on the Special Council Meeting <br /> Tuesday evening. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> a. Rental Property Ordinance <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Staff Report. The New Richland ordinance is very concise <br /> being�or 8 pages.
