Zoning Administrator's Report 1�. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning Department: i. Clay and Jamie Lipke, 2�075 Pine Cone Lane, for a shoreline alteration; 2. Lee Holck, 3o6T7 Pequot Blvd.,for an accessory structure; 3. John and Katie Utter, 5592 Lady Slipper Drive,for retaining walls and deck. B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last meeting: 1. January 2�letter to David and Christine Kennedy regarding completion of exterior of dwelling; 2. February 5letter to Louisa Tiegen regarding horses; 3. February 5letter to Mr. and Mrs. Dan Couture regarding Animal Husbandry and Fences; 4. February 6letter to Brian and Meghan Kazmierczak regarding animals. C. Council Meeting Notes: An excerpt from the February 5 Council Meeting Minutes are included. 6.2. Rental Property Ordinance Dawn Bittner explained the Planning Commission had reviewed several ordinances and excerpts from other cities that pertain to crime free/drug free rental housing. After review, the consensus of the Planning Commission was to not pursue a Rental Property Ordinance. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AFFIRM THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DECISION TO NOT PURSUE A RENTAL PROPERTY ORDINANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. Mayor Adams thanked the Planning Commission for reviewing the rental property ordinances of other cities. Council Member Swanson inquired if this is the first time this topic has been researched. Dawn Bittner confirmed it was and further explained that a lot of time was spent in researching this issue. Council Member Akerson questioned what prompted the research.
