Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> 1�. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last <br /> month by the Zoning Department: <br /> i. Clay and Jamie Lipke, 2�075 Pine Cone Lane, for a shoreline alteration; <br /> 2. Lee Holck, 3o6T7 Pequot Blvd.,for an accessory structure; <br /> 3. John and Katie Utter, 5592 Lady Slipper Drive,for retaining walls and deck. <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since <br /> the last meeting: <br /> 1. January 2�letter to David and Christine Kennedy regarding completion of <br /> exterior of dwelling; <br /> 2. February 5letter to Louisa Tiegen regarding horses; <br /> 3. February 5letter to Mr. and Mrs. Dan Couture regarding Animal Husbandry <br /> and Fences; <br /> 4. February 6letter to Brian and Meghan Kazmierczak regarding animals. <br /> C. Council Meeting Notes: <br /> An excerpt from the February 5 Council Meeting Minutes are included. <br /> 6.2. Rental Property Ordinance <br /> Dawn Bittner explained the Planning Commission had reviewed several <br /> ordinances and excerpts from other cities that pertain to crime free/drug free <br /> rental housing. After review, the consensus of the Planning Commission <br /> was to not pursue a Rental Property Ordinance. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AFFIRM THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION'S DECISION TO NOT PURSUE A RENTAL PROPERTY <br /> ORDINANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. <br /> Mayor Adams thanked the Planning Commission for reviewing the rental <br /> property ordinances of other cities. <br /> Council Member Swanson inquired if this is the first time this topic has been <br /> researched. Dawn Bittner confirmed it was and further explained that a lot <br /> of time was spent in researching this issue. <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned what prompted the research.
