MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 5. Thrivin�Communities Initiative Update <br /> Quality of Life Task Force—Focus has been on the Trailside Park improvements <br /> which is at 30%. They are hoping to get things out for bid this winter. <br /> Economy Task Force—The big item was to get the logo registered,which has been <br /> sent in. <br /> Work Force Task Force—No upda.te. <br /> 6. School Update <br /> The audit was recently approved and there will be a slight increase to the levy. <br /> 7. Chamber Update <br /> Chris Monroe reported she has been visiting with bath members and non-members. <br /> The Chamber will be establishing an Advisory Board. They have launched the 2018 <br /> Visitors Guide which will be distributed to 100,000 different locations. <br /> 8. BLAEDC Update <br /> Sheila Haverkamp reported she ha.d a chance to visit with the Babinski team at their <br /> new office building. They also have space available for tenants. <br /> The Unified Fund is up and ready to bring to the table to help businesses expand. <br /> 9. City of Jenkins Up,date <br /> No report given. <br /> 10. Other Business <br /> Chair Jurchen requested changing the February 20 meeting date to February 27. The <br /> consensus of those members present was to change the meeting date to February 27. <br /> 11. Adjourn <br />
