Robert&Kimberly Swenson Timeline: <br /> i. June 6, 20��— Council declared the property at 3�o5i Pine Street a Public <br /> Nuisance; <br /> 2. June 9, 2oi�— Dawn Bittner mailed a copy of Resolution i�-i8 to the Swenson's <br /> informing them they had until August 15, 2oi�at ��:oo AM to fully remedy the <br /> nuisance conditions and code violations listed on Exhibit E: <br /> a. Remove the manufactured home (dwelling)from the Property, <br /> b. Remove the attached garage and breezeway connecting the garage to the <br /> dwelling from the Property, <br /> c. Remove the deck and hot tub accessory structure from the Property. <br /> 3. July 2�, 20��— Dawn Bittner mailed a reminder letter to the Swenson's they had <br /> until ii:oo AM August 15, 201�to remedy the nuisance conditions and code <br /> violations listed on F.�chibit E; <br /> 4. Sometime after the August�5, 20��deadline Mr. Swenson came to City Hall and <br /> requested to speak to the Mayor. He was informed the Mayor was not in, at <br /> which time he stated he would call her at home; <br /> 5. September 5, 201�— Mayor Adams spoke with Robert Swenson via phone. He <br /> stated his son was repairing the trailer and was planning to move in October 1. <br /> The Mayor stated Planning&Zoning and the Council felt the property was <br /> blighted and had deteriorated to a point of concern and the City felt it did not <br /> meet health and safety standards. Mr. Swenson stated he and his son had <br /> worked to address the concerns the City had listed in their letter; <br /> 6. November 6, 20��— Mayor Adams spoke with Mr. Swenson who stated they were <br /> several weeks behind on the project. The project should take appro�mately 2 <br /> additional weeks; <br /> �. December 5, 20��— Mayor Adams and Sgt. Turcotte met with Robert Swenson <br /> and his son, Cody, at the properry. Mr. Swenson stated the yard had been <br /> cleaned up and he and his son had worked successfully to make the mobile home <br /> habitable. The Mayor stated the City had issue with the outside appearance of <br /> the buildings. Mr. Swenson stated they planned to install a new garage door and <br /> back door shortly,and a new roof and siding in the spring. Mayor Adams asked <br /> for a detailed plan of the work they planned to meet the City's concerns by Friday, <br /> December 8. (This plan was not received by the end of the business day.) Mayor <br /> Adams and Sgt.Turcotte suggested to Cody Swenson the land would be more <br /> valuable if the buildings were removed and a new structure, such as a duplex,was <br /> constructed. <br /> 8. December ii, 2oi�—The Swenson's plan for improvements was received,which <br /> did not address all of the concerns. Please see attached plan. <br /> g. December i2, 2oi�— Mayor Adams spoke with Mr. Swenson who stated the <br /> garage and back door will be new and replaced shortly. Painting will be done in <br /> the spring, not new siding. Mr. Swenson will address the Council at their <br /> upcoming meeting. <br />
