• Section i�-�.q.requires"(a)Il structures shall be properly maintained in a clean <br /> �r and acceptable manner so as not to constitute a menace to the public health, <br /> safety,convenience,general welfare, property values,and aesthetics" . . . . and <br /> that"(a)all landscaping shall be properly maintained so as to preserve planting in <br /> a live state and free of noxious weeds." <br /> • Section i�-�.5 (B) requires that"all materials and equipment shall be stored <br /> within a building or fully screened so as not to be visible from adjoining <br /> properties." <br /> • Section i�-�.6 prohibits land uses that have"a strong negative visual impact or <br /> offends the morals or violates the standards of the City." <br /> • Section 1�-�.�requires that"(a)ll solid waste shall be disposed of in accordance <br /> with the standards of Crow Wing County." <br /> � Section i�-�.5(C) requires that recreational vehicles must be stored at least io <br /> feet distance from any property line and vutside of the OHW setback." <br /> • Section i�-7.5(D) requires"abandoned motor vehicles shall be stored within a <br /> structure or completely screened from view from adjacent properties and right- <br /> of-way." <br /> In addition,the conditions on your property descri"bed above constitute a public <br /> nuisance under the following provisions in Chapter�.2 of the Code,which provides that <br /> anyone wha maintains such conditions is guilty of a misdemeanor: <br /> • Any condition"which unreasonable annoys,injures,or endangers the safety, <br /> � health,morals,comfort,or repose of any considerable number of inembers af the <br /> public(City Code�-2.i); <br /> • Accumulations of manure, refuse,or other debris(City Code�-2.2); <br /> • Accumulations in the ogen of discarded or disused machiaery, household <br /> appliances, automobile bodies,or other material,in a manner conductive to the <br /> harboring of rats, mice,snakes,or vermin,or the ca.nk growth of vegetation <br /> among the items so accumulated,or in a manner creating fire, health,or safety <br /> hazards from such accumulation(City Code�-2.4); <br /> • All other conditions or things which are likely to cause injury to the person or <br /> property of anyone(City Code�-2.4}. <br /> EnforcementjPenalty <br /> Please be advised that pursuant to City Code Section i7-i2.i,violation of any provision <br /> of Chapter i�of City Code shall he considered either an administrative offense subject to <br /> an administrative fine; a criminal offense;or a civil offense subject to enforcement <br /> through civil remedies, including the abatement procedure described below. Each act of <br /> violation in every calendar day upon which said violation occurs or continues may be <br /> considered a separate offense.
