• Section i�-�.q.requires"(a)Il structures shall be properly maintained in a clean �r and acceptable manner so as not to constitute a menace to the public health, safety,convenience,general welfare, property values,and aesthetics" . . . . and that"(a)all landscaping shall be properly maintained so as to preserve planting in a live state and free of noxious weeds." • Section i�-�.5 (B) requires that"all materials and equipment shall be stored within a building or fully screened so as not to be visible from adjoining properties." • Section i�-�.6 prohibits land uses that have"a strong negative visual impact or offends the morals or violates the standards of the City." • Section 1�-�.�requires that"(a)ll solid waste shall be disposed of in accordance with the standards of Crow Wing County." � Section i�-�.5(C) requires that recreational vehicles must be stored at least io feet distance from any property line and vutside of the OHW setback." • Section i�-7.5(D) requires"abandoned motor vehicles shall be stored within a structure or completely screened from view from adjacent properties and right- of-way." In addition,the conditions on your property descri"bed above constitute a public nuisance under the following provisions in Chapter�.2 of the Code,which provides that anyone wha maintains such conditions is guilty of a misdemeanor: • Any condition"which unreasonable annoys,injures,or endangers the safety, � health,morals,comfort,or repose of any considerable number of inembers af the public(City Code�-2.i); • Accumulations of manure, refuse,or other debris(City Code�-2.2); • Accumulations in the ogen of discarded or disused machiaery, household appliances, automobile bodies,or other material,in a manner conductive to the harboring of rats, mice,snakes,or vermin,or the ca.nk growth of vegetation among the items so accumulated,or in a manner creating fire, health,or safety hazards from such accumulation(City Code�-2.4); • All other conditions or things which are likely to cause injury to the person or property of anyone(City Code�-2.4}. EnforcementjPenalty Please be advised that pursuant to City Code Section i7-i2.i,violation of any provision of Chapter i�of City Code shall he considered either an administrative offense subject to an administrative fine; a criminal offense;or a civil offense subject to enforcement through civil remedies, including the abatement procedure described below. Each act of violation in every calendar day upon which said violation occurs or continues may be considered a separate offense. Further,a person who violates this Code is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof may be punished by a fine of not more than $i000.00 and/or imprisonment for a term not ta exceed go days,or both, ' � I
