CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES RESOLUTION 17-18 <br /> � <br /> FINDINGS,CONCLUSIONS AND ORDER <br /> OF PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL REGARDING ALLEGED <br /> CODE VIOLATIONS AND NUISANCE CONDITIONS AT 3952 COUNTY ROAD 17 <br /> WHEREAS, notice pursuant to Pequot Lakes City Code ("City Code") Section 7-2.6, <br /> notice of the hearing before the City Council ("City Council") of the City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Minnesota.("City"),to consider the alleged code violations and nuisance conditions at 3952 <br /> County Road 17, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota(the"Property"), was duly given to Virgil Dahl, <br /> property owner of record of the Property, by U.S. Mail on Apri121,2017; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City entered into an agreement with the property owner of the Property <br /> on July 7, 2016 pursuant to which the property owner agreed to remedy specified code violations <br /> on the Property in connection with the property owner's application for a building permit to <br /> improve the dwelling unit on the Properiy; however the property owner has not completed the <br /> corrective actions specified in such agreement. <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant City Code Section 7-2.6, a public hearing was held on June 6, <br /> 2017, before the City Council to consider the alleged code violations and nuisance conditions <br /> present on the Property, and a list of those individuals testifying at the public hearing is attached <br /> hereto as E�chibit A. <br /> � NOW, THEREFORE,the Pequot Lakes City Council, based upon the record and <br /> evidence presented at said hearing, makes the following: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. T'hat Virgil Dahl is the ovtmer of record of the Properiy, according to Crow Wing <br /> County's records as attached hereto as Exhibit B. <br /> 2. That the property owner of record received written notice of the alleged code <br /> violations and nuisance conditions and of the June 6,2017 public hearing thereon, as <br /> shown in the correspondence attached hereto as Earhibit C. <br /> 3. That garbage,junk, lumber, scattered fencing materials, a dilapidated structure near <br /> the fire pit, inoperable motor vehicles, a fifth-wheel trailer with a makeshift wall, <br /> metal pieces and other debris have been allowed to accumulate and are currently <br /> present in plain view on the premises of the Property. <br /> 4. That the accumulation of such garbage,junk, lumber, fencing materials, dilapidated � <br /> structure, inoperable motor vehicles,trailer,metal pieces and other debris on the � <br /> premises of the Property is in violation of the following City Code Sections <br /> (prohibited conditions in parentheses following citation): � <br /> � <br /> �.: � <br /> i <br /> i <br /> � <br /> � <br /> I <br />
