CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> � RESOLUTION 17-01 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND/OR GRANTS FROM <br /> NOVEMBER 21, 2016 THROUGH DECEMBER 26, 2016 <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept <br /> donations of real and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section <br /> 465.03 for the benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts <br /> and bequests for the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota <br /> Statutes Section 471.17; and <br /> WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered to contribute the <br /> cash sums set forth below to the City: <br /> Name of Donor Amount Requested Use of Contribution or Grant <br /> See attached list of donors <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES, MINNESOTA that all donations and/or grants described above are <br /> hereby graciously accepted by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used as <br /> � <br /> requested by the donors or grant requirements. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses its gratitude to the <br /> donors of the gifts. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 3� day of January, <br /> 2017. <br /> Nancy A.
