AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER g OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING ESTABLISHMENT OF A CITY PARK COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUN1'Y OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> P �ose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter <br /> 3 of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to Establishment of a City Park Commission. <br /> Amendment: Chapter 3,Article 5.i shall be amended as follows: <br /> There is hereby created and established pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 4i2.i1i a City <br /> Park Commission for the City of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota,which shall consist of not less <br /> than three (3) nor more than seven (�) members who are residents or landowners of the <br /> City. It shall be the duty of each individual member to be present at all meetings of the <br /> Park Commission. More than three absences in any one year period shall be grounds for <br /> replacement by the City Council. The Park Commission shall serve in an advisory <br /> capacity to the City Council. Park Commission members shall be appointed by the <br /> ��,., Mayor with the approval of the City Council. The Public Works Supervisor shall serve as <br /> staff to and an ex officio member of the Park Commission.
