Call Meetine to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair Jurchen at 8:00 a.m. He welcomed Lynne <br /> Clement as a new EDC Member. <br /> 2. A�prove EDC Minutes <br /> COMNIISSIONER LUBKE MOVED TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER 17,2017 <br /> ECONONIIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES. <br /> COMNIISSIONER LINDHOLM SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Broadband/Fiber Optic Needs Assessment <br /> a. Bill Coleman, Community Technology Advisors <br /> Mr. Coleman explained he contracts with the Blandin Founda.tion and has worked <br /> with many communities over the years. The Blandin Founda.tion has granted up to 32 <br /> hours of Mr. Coleman's time to Pequot Lakes. <br /> Mr. Coleman provided a Community Broadband Infrastructure and Services <br /> Assessment Tool, as well as 2 surveys the EDC can use as a guide for creating our <br /> Needs Assessment. <br /> b. Integrate with Grow Zone azea <br /> 4. Potential Development South of Business Park <br /> Chair Jurchen provided a handout titled Connectivity- Planning Brick and Mortar in a <br /> Virlual World. <br />
