It is a pleasure to work with the staff and volunteers of our city and we have thoroughly enjoyed the many years we have served the city. We appreciate your business. January I" begins a new year, and we would like to request that the City Council once again appoint our agency as agent of record for 2010. We trust that our services have been of value to the City and its staff. In 2009 we: 1. Logged approximately 170 contacts with City Council members and City Staff on various service, claims, and policy items. 2. Assisted in the renewal of the Property /Casualty insurance with the League of Minnesota as well as the Health Insurance Renewal through the Joint Powers Alliance. 3. Worked with City Staff on loss control issues including the Fleet Driving Safety program, Cole Memorial issues and policy, and No -Fault Sewer coverage. 4. Assisted the League of Minnesota Cities in revaluation of City property to insure adequate coverage. As part of our request for reappointment, we would like to continue with our current compensation arrangement which is a commission that is paid by the League of Minnesota Cities to our agency. The commission rate ranges from 2% on the workers' compensation to 10% on the property /auto/liability package.
