MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br />City Clerk's Office <br />December, 2009 <br />Meetings <br />City Council Meet*ngs <br />The Council held one Council meeting in November <br />December 1, 2009 — Council Actions <br />• Transferred Library Funds <br />• Motion to not waive the monetary limits on tort liability <br />• Heard a presentation for an audio /video system to broadcast meetings on cable — <br />No action taken to move forward with this, however, the Council consented to <br />dedicate Cable Commission funds for this purpose in the future <br />• Rezoned property owned by Babinski <br />• Entered into Law Enforcement Contract for 2010 with Jenkins Township <br />• Entered into Law Enforcement Contract for 2010 with Jenkins City of Pequot <br />Lakes Entered into Prosecution Agreement for 2010 with Matt Mallie <br />• Entered into Agreement with Minnesota Department of Public Safety for Nitecap <br />Grant <br />• Approved all budgets for 2010 <br />• Approved General Fund Levy at $1,446,000 <br />• Approved HRA Levy at $31,000 <br />• Entered into Road Agreement with City of Breezy Point <br />• Entered into Road Agreement with Jenkins Township <br />• Entered into Road Agreement with Loon Lake Township <br />• Authorized City Attorney to prepare documents for road vacation for Rathcke <br />Property <br />• Moved to entertain a proposal for leasing the water tower for an antenna <br />• Entered into an engineering proposal with WSN for professional services <br />associated with SuperValu <br />• Made several appointments to boards and commissions <br />• Authorized a $500 donation to the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway <br />• Authorized Clerk's office to close on December 24 <br />Meetings <br />Park Commission <br />The Park Commission did not meet in December <br />Economic Development Commission <br />
