�equot L�ke� ��li�e l�onthly Re��rt <br /> September 2017: <br /> During the month of 5eptember (15t-30th),the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record of <br /> 350 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Burglary <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • EMS <br /> • Harassing Communications <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Noise Complaint <br /> • Shooting Complaint <br /> • Suspicious Activity/Vehicle <br /> • Theft <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 9/10/17, Officer Ryan Franz attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding and swerving.The <br /> driver did not stop and eluded for approximately a mile and half, where he pulled into a <br /> driveway. The driver exited his vehicle and did not comply with OfFicer Franz's verbal <br /> commands. Despite being tased,the driver was able to get into the house and barricade himself <br /> inside. Units from six other neighboring agencies quickly responded to assist. Officer Franz gave <br /> numerous warnings over his PA system for the driver to surrender. After 45 minutes of no <br /> response,the units breached the front door and detained the driver. He was checked out by <br /> ambulance,then booked into jail on felony fleeing, DWI and obstructing legal process.The <br /> vehicle is pending forFeiture. <br /> On 9/11/17, Officer Ryan Franz was requested to assist Nisswa Police with a possible <br /> intoxicated driver.After administering a field sobriety test, OfFicer Franz detained the male and <br /> placed him in his squad car. A search of the vehicle resulted in locating narcotics and narcotics <br /> paraphernalia. The male was then placed under arrest for driving under the influence of a <br /> controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. The vehicle and $216 cash is <br /> pending forfeiture. <br />
