M <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 10- <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM <br />NOVEMBER 25, 2009 THROUGH DECEMBER 21, 2009 <br />WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept contributions of real <br />and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.03 for the <br />benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts and bequests for <br />the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered to contribute the cash sums set <br />forth below to the City: <br />Name of Donor Amount Requested Use of Donation <br />See Attached list of Donors <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA that the contributions described above are hereby graciously accepted <br />by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used as requested by the donors. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses its gratitude to the donors of <br />the gifts. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 5TH day of January, 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />Sandra A.
