Pe�uo� Lake� l�o/ic� Monthly Report <br /> Au�ust 2017: <br /> During the month of August (1n-31�),the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record of 381 <br /> calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • 911 Hangup <br /> • Agency Assist <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Court Order Violation <br /> • Damage to Property <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • Ems <br /> • Fight <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Property Damage Accident <br /> • Theft <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 8/7/17, OfFicer Ryan Franz was dispatched to the report of a physical domestic between <br /> father and son. Upon arrival, Officer Franz made contact with the victim. Officer Franz called for <br /> an ambulance to check on the victim's injuries.The father was later determined to be the <br /> aggressor in the situation and was ultimately arrested for misdemeanor 5th degree domestic <br /> assault.The victim refused transport by the ambulance and was instead brought to a friend's <br /> house for the night by OfFicer Lasher of the Nisswa Police Department. <br /> On 8/18/17, Officer Matt Jorgens was dispatched to Olson St for the report of suspicious <br /> activity.The reporting party was calling from out of town with 3�d party information from his <br /> friend who lived in the area that there were a group of people who were wearing full body bear <br /> suits. Officer Jorgens checked the area and did not locate the people dressed as bears. <br /> On 8/31/17, Officer Ryan Franz was working a TZD in the Brainerd area. He initiated a traffic <br /> stop on a vehicle for crossing the fog line. Upon making contact with the male driver, OfFicer <br /> Franz noted a strong smell of alcohol as well as a very nervous female passenger.The female <br /> passenger admitted to having an open container and also stated she thought it was legal like it <br /> was in her home state of Montana. Officer Franz had the driver and passenger exit the vehicle <br />
