November 15, 2011 Minutes Housing & Redevelopment Authority Commissioners present: Bob Peterson, Robert Ritter, Trudy Jurchen, Lorraine Youngberg, Laura Hofius Also present: Executive Director Carlson, Assistant Director Anderson, Mayor Adams Tenants: P. Hoskins, J. Hoskins, D. Botham Call Meeting to Order 5:15 p.m. Chairman Peterson called to order the meeting of the Housing Authority. Peterson welcomed everyone attending. Consider Agenda & Bills No changes Consent Agenda/Regular Meeting approved Minutes & Payment of Bills Moved by Trudy, seconded by Ritter, All ayes; Motion carried. West Grove Annual inspections will be set up Sibley Terrace December will be the open Board meeting for the public to view the 5 year plan Parkview Burn Unit is completed Alpine Questioned garden space will not be pressed anymore. In the early Spring we will again ask for those that want to be involved on the usage of the space and share the project. Executive Director's Report Annual alarms inspection with our security company was held on the 16`h within the Sibley Terrace and ParkView I & II. Executive Director Carlson & Maintenance Hall will discuss their suggestions for the 5 year plan. `— Maintenance Engineer's Report Preparing for snow. Blower was needing repairs and is ready for the season. Other Business No response from the attendees Open Forum The new bright lights that highlight the Bobber Water tower were discussed. Mayor Adams said that they are looking into getting some sort of shields to encompass the light more. (not sure of understanding this conversation and concern discussed >>>The additional emergency city alarm that was shut off has had only one complaint of it being shut off. All other responses received by the city have been positive in liking the choice of stopping the second alert.) Adjournment 5:35 p.m. Moved by Hofius, seconded by Jurchen. All ayes: motion carried.
