McAninch <br /> i9 Park Drive <br /> Circle Pines, MN 55014 <br /> RE: City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Potential City Code wolation <br /> PIN: 2902234o5BA0009 <br /> Dear Mr. McAninch: <br /> It has come to my attention through a complaint that you are likely in violation of the <br /> City Code regarding Maintenance,�sual Standards and Exterior Storage. <br /> The City Code states in Section 1�-7.4 MAIN'I'ENANCE that `All structures shall be <br /> properly maintained in a clean and acceptable manner so as not to constitute a <br /> menace to the public health,safety, convenience,general welfare,property values,and <br /> aesthetics. All landscaping shall be properly maintained so as to preserve planting in <br /> a live state and free of noxious weeds." <br /> The City Code further states in Section i�-�.6 VISUAL STANDARDS that "No use shall <br /> create, maintain or continue any activity or structure which has a strong negative <br /> uisual irnpact or offends the morals or violates the standards of the City." <br /> The City Code also states in Section i�-�.5 EXTERIOR STORAGE that <br /> A. "There shall be no exterior storage allowed on lots that do not contain a <br /> principle or accessory structure <br /> B. "...all materials and equipment shall be stored within a building or fully <br /> screereed so as not to be visible from adjoining properties." <br /> C. "No rnore than two fish houses and one recreational vehicle are permissible if <br /> they are currently licensed.Fish houses and recreational vehicles must be stored <br /> at least lo feet distance from any property line and outside of the OHW <br /> setback." <br /> D. "Abandoned motor uehicles shall be stored within a structure or cornpletely <br /> screened from view from adjacent properties and right-of-way." <br /> "This instztution is an equal opporeunity providQr and errzplayer:" <br />
