Citv Property Comqlaint <br /> Dawn Bittner presented complaints from Jack Schmidt at the August 17tn <br /> Planning Commission meeting which includes the un-mowed Field of <br /> Dreams park area, the un-mowed City owned lot in the Business Park, and <br /> the existing brush pile north of City Hall. <br /> It was noted that the Park Commission discussed the Field of Dreams park <br /> area in 2011 and moved to continue planting trees in the Park to create a <br /> natural buffer between the homes and the road as was intended. There are <br /> hundreds of trees, seedlings, wildflowers, and native grasses that are <br /> growing in the park area. The pile of brush will be burned when there is <br /> adequate snow cover and a new location will be utilized in the future. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO HAVE THE CITY OWNED LOT IN THE <br /> BUSINESS PARK MOWED ONCE PER MONTH MAY THROUGH <br /> SEPTEMBER. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3-2. COUNCIL MEMBERS PEDERSON <br /> AND LOUKOTA OPPOSED. <br /> D. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City <br /> Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement <br /> actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the <br /> satisfaction of the Planning Commission. <br /> ➢ Virgil Dahl—The City Council declared this properry a public nuisance and <br /> must be cleaned up by July�. (�0/06 to present) <br /> ➢ John and Barbara Derksen— Exterior storage. This properry has been <br /> declared a public nuisance and violations must be remedied by November i. <br /> �5/13) <br /> ➢ Cathi McBryde — F�terior storage. Enforcement has begun.
