ORDINANCE NUMBER��-_, SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAP'rER 1�OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING OFFISTE SIGNS <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend Chapter <br /> ��of the Pequot Lakes City Code regarding offsite signs. <br /> Amendment: Section 1�-�.i (6) shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section i�-�.1 SIGNS <br /> 6. Offsite signs shall be allowed as follows: <br /> (i) Size: The m�imum sign area for any one face shall not exceed <br /> q.00 square feet. Such m�imum size limitation shall a�plv to each <br /> face of a si�n structure. Signs ma,�� be placed back-to-back. No "V" <br /> type construction shall be allowed. All square footage area <br /> rec�uirements shall include border and exclude structural su�ports. <br /> No stacked signs shall be allowed. <br /> �2) Location: An offsite sign shall be located only in zoning districts <br /> that allow them as a ".�ermitted use" in Section 5.i6 Land Use <br /> Matrix. Only two (2) offsite sign locations shall be allowed. <br /> (3) Number: Only two (2) offsite sign locations shall be allowed per <br /> ap rcel• <br /> (4) Height: The maximum hei�ht of an offsite si�n shall not exceed <br /> feet. <br /> ��Spacing: No offsite sign shall be located closer than 75o feet to <br /> an,�other offsite sign or billboard. <br /> �6) Lightin�: All illumination of offsite signs shall be downward <br /> directional. <br /> 1 <br />
