An object wtthin this area not exceeding <br /> 3o inches in height as measured from the centerline eleuation of the street shall <br /> not be considered as an obstruction to uision." <br /> At the August 1�, 201�Planning Commission meeting there was discussion <br /> regarding intersections with overgrown shrubbery that made travel through the <br /> intersections unsafe. Staff will work with the Public Works Supervisor and the <br /> City Administrator/Clerk to develop a plan for this. <br /> Applicable Regulations: Staff has prepared an ordinance amendment that <br /> includes language for intersections. The red, underlined text is the proposed <br /> language to be added. <br /> Staff Findings: Staff provides the following Findings of Fact for consideration <br /> by the Planning Commission: <br /> i. The amendment creates a performance standard to ensure visibility and <br /> promote safe travel at intersections. <br /> Planning Commission Direction: The Planning Commission can approve <br /> the Ordinance Amendment, deny the application, or table the request if <br /> additional information is needed.
