Presentation of Investment Policv <br /> Nancy Malecha presented the Investment Policy. Ms. Malecha <br /> indicated that the creation of the policy was based on <br /> recommendations from the City Auditor on the 2006 audit report. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT THE <br /> INVESTMENT POLICY. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10.4. Request bv Minnesota Fishing Museum to Sell Pull Tabs at <br /> Speedstop in Pequot Lakes <br /> Nancy Malecha discussed the Premises Permit request from the <br /> Minnesota Fishing Museum to sell pull tabs at the Speedstop in <br /> Pequot Lakes. This item was previously tabled by the City Council <br /> until a decision was received from the City Attorney regarding the <br /> basis for denying an application. The letter from the City Attorney <br /> states that according to the ordinance currently in effect, if an <br /> applicant meets the requirements in applying for a permit, there is <br /> ``.- no basis for denying the application. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ADOPT <br /> RESOLUTION 07-31 APPROVING THE PREMISES PERMIT FOR <br /> MINNESOTA FISHING MUSEUM AT THE SPEEDSTOP IN <br /> PEQUOT LAKES. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10.5. Januarv Council Meetinq <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that the first Tuesday in <br /> January falls on the New Year's Day holiday. Therefore, the City <br /> Council meeting date must be changed. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO SET THE JANUARY <br /> COUNCIL MEETING FOR JANUARY 8, 2008. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 11. Maintenance and Water/Wastewater Suqervisor's Reports <br /> Reports reviewed by Council. <br /> �. <br />
