City Council Minutes
February 6, 2007
--------------------------

• PARCEL #290263401 DB0009
• PARCEL #290263401CAA009
COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION
CARRIED 4-0.
6.4. PLADO Request to Participate in the Hiqhway 371 Process
Mayor Pro-Tem Sjoblad noted that this item was consistent with the
request from the Chamber that was presented at open forum.
COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO FORMALLY ENGAGE THE
THREE ORGANIZATIONS (CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, BLADC, AND
PLADO) IN THE HIGHWAY 371 DECISION PROCESS. COUNCIL
MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION.
Mayor Pro-Tem Sjoblad questioned if the intent of the motion was that the
involvement of the groups be consistent with the process decided on by
the Planning Commission/Council 371 study group. Council Member Ryan
stated that was the intent.

MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
7. Fire Chief Report
Report by Chief Nelson. Chief Nelson updated the Council on the building
process.
8. Water/Wastewater Monthlv Reqort
Report by Tina Nolden.
8.1. HRA Water Bill
Tina Nolden noted that the HRA is requesting an adjustment in the utility
bill for the month of December for Sibley Terrace. The bill was unusually
high and the HRA has no knowledge of what caused the leak. The Council
discussed the possibility of reducing the bill. It was the consensus of the
Council that the water did go through the meter and down the sewer. It
was also the consensus of the Council that if a refund were given it would
be setting a precedent. Following discussion, the Council took no action to
reduce the bill.
