RESOLUTION 17-23 ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM <br /> MAY 25, 2017 THROUGH JUNE 25, 2017. <br /> 3.6. QUARTERLY UTILITY BILLING ADJUSTMENT REPORT FOR <br /> APRIL THROUGH JUNE 2017. <br /> 3.7. SPECIAL EVENT PERMITS FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT <br /> TORCH RUN AND CONCERT WITH GRACE. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> Maury Graham, 5988 North Sluetter Road, Pequot Lakes, addressed the <br /> Council. Mr. Graham requested Council consideration to pave North <br /> Sluetter Road, presented options that could possibly decrease the cost of <br /> paving the Road, and requested the City Attorney be contacted to verify <br /> the percentage of resident participation needed to initiate the special <br /> assessment petition to pave the Road. Mayor Adams asked Nancy <br /> Malecha to contact the City Attorney. <br /> 5. Presentations <br /> 5.1. Highway 371 Update <br /> Nancy Malecha shared emails that she received from Randy Shoen of <br /> Mathiowetz Construction. Mr. Shoen indicated the north and south end of <br /> Patriot Avenue should be completed by the first part of August weather <br /> permitting. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The June 28, 2017 Planning Commission Report and June 15, 2017 draft <br /> Planning Commission Meeting minutes were received by Council. <br /> 6.2. Rezone Request <br /> Dawn Bittner explained the Planning Commission is unanimously <br /> recommending the rezoning of a parcel owned by Dennis Reschke from <br /> Shoreline Residential to Rural Residential based on 14 Findings of Fact. <br />
