The Council wanted to focus on this area
as the Thriving Communities Initiative wanted the City to start looking at gateways into the
community and the Council thought this was a good area to begin. The Council asked for
feedback from all Boards and Commissions and other organizations as to what the
improvements should entail, what is beneficial for this area. There are stormwater issues and
water and wastewater improvements that will be needed.
