Administration <br /> The following items were received by Council. <br /> • June 8, 2017 draft Park Commission minutes <br /> • June 20, 2017 draft EDC minutes <br /> • June 20, 2017 HRA minutes <br /> • June 21, 2017 Pequot Lakes TCI Steering Committee minutes <br /> 10.1. Change August Council Meeting Date <br /> Nancy Malecha noted that the August 1St regularly scheduled Council <br /> meeting falls on the same date as the Police Department's National Night <br /> Out event and she inquired if the Council would like to change the date of <br /> their August meeting because of this. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO KEEP THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON AUGUST 1, 2017 AT 6:30 PM. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5-0. <br /> 10.2. Call Special Meeting for August <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL <br /> MEETING ON AUGUST 1, 2017 AT 6:00 PM FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> ADOPTING AN ORDER TO DECLARE A PROPERTY AS A PUBLIC <br /> NUISANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.3. HRA Appointment <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council there is presently one vacancy on <br /> the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and Pat Dittes has <br /> submitted her application to fill this vacancy for a partial term expiring on <br /> December 31, 2021. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPOINT PAT DITTES TO THE <br /> HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR A PARTIAL TERM <br /> EXPIRING ON DECEMBER 31, 2021. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
