Roundabouts Landscaping - Update
Commissioner Pearson will speak with Jeff Dirks from CLC regarding getting an
estimate for his classes to complete the planting. Mike Loven stated we should
not plant now because of the lateness of the season and drought possibilities in
July and August. Dawn Bittner stated that the tear drop roundabouts measure 24
ft. x 30 ft. Chair Ronning asked if they can be reshaped because they are
mounded and water will run off them. Mayor Adams suggested $500 for the
budget. Mike Loven will look into the cost for the ground ivy, wild flowers, and
milk weed which were suggested by Mayor Adams, Commissioner Nagel and
Commissioner Pearson.
5. Skate Park— Possible Stormwater Pond Location
Dawn Bittner stated the preferred location for the skate park is contingent on the
final plan for the stormwater pond location. Mike Loven stated that there is no
stormwater south of County Road 11 which is the reason for the pond to go south
of where the skate park will be once approved. Final decision will come after
more research.
