This unique and beautiful property has been in the family for
about three generations and will continue to stay in the family for generations to
come. The family members have done an excellent job of wildlife management
and enjoy hunting and recreating on it. The property includes about a thousand
feet of lakeshore on East Twin. The property used to be much larger with acreage
on West Twin Lake, but the family has sold the western portion to the State for
Highway expansion. The family no longer owns anything west of Hwy. 371.
There is a power line that runs across the SW corner and 2 acres will be deducted
from 2c for these acres. The power line does provide openings of upland and
lowland grass. The owners enjoy using these areas for viewing and hunting deer.
The power lines are kept open and maintained by the power company. The timber
types are mature aspen and birch with three stands of Norway and jack pine
interspersed. There is a lowland grass type on the lake and an upland grass type
along the highway and power line easements. The aspen and birch are over mature
2
