City of
AGENDA ITEM #9.1
1€?
Pe not
Lakes —
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Report Prepared by: Tim Houle
Date: July 6, 2017
Subject: Street Quadrant Storm Water Cost Estimation
Report: As discussed at the last City Council meeting, we
moved the proposed storm water infiltration basin further to
the south. We are still putting the finishing touches on the
report itself; however, the estimated project cost for storm
water improvements in this whole quadrant is $700,000.
This estimated cost includes construction, contingencies,
design, permits, administrative, and construction phase
services (observation, staking, etc.).
Moving the infiltration basin further south increased the
project cost about $175,000 (in other words, if the basin
would be immediately south of East Woodman as presented
last month, the project costs for the storm water
improvements in the Downtown SE Quadrant would have
been about $525,000).
