11. The subject property is adjacent to property zoned"Rural Residential", "Shoreline <br /> Residential" and "Forest Management". The proposed reclassification is not <br /> considered"spot zoning." <br /> 12. The proposed rezoning is in conformance with the City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 13. The future land use map identifies the subject property as "Rural Residential." <br /> Rezoning the subject property to "Rural Residential" is compatible with that <br /> classification. <br /> 14. The subject property meets minimum requirements for the "Rural Residential" <br /> zone. <br /> Planning Commission Member Hallan stated the penalty is a separate issue. When the <br /> applicant comes in for the Forest Management Plan the City will make a decision <br /> enforcing the after-the-fact multiplier. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> Chair Engels closed the Public Hearing. <br /> ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA: None. <br /> OPEN FORUM: None. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: None. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> a. Nathan Walberg, Used Car Lot Update <br /> Mr. Burslie reported Chair Engels,Zoning Specialist Bittner and he visited Mr. Walberg <br /> at 4:30 this afternoon. Mr.Walberg has complied with all of the things we asked him to <br /> do. The vehicles north of the driveway are single file,he has established customer <br /> parking,the vehicles meet the io-foot setback,vehicles requested have been removed <br /> and the piles have been removed. Staff was directed to send a letter to Mr.Walberg <br /> notifying him he is in compliance. <br /> b. State Building Code, Special Meeting <br /> Zoning Specialist Bittner informed the Planning Commission that the City Council <br /> called a Special Meeting to meet with the Planning Commission Thursday,July 20, <br /> 2017,to discuss the State Building Code.
