I
City of
AGENDA ITEM #9.1
it
Pc not
Lakes- _
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Report Prepared by: Tim Houle
Date: June 6, 2017
Subiect: Street Quadrant Storm Water Study
Report: This Study is providing the City with a big picture,
integrated approach on addressing storm drainage in the
southeast quadrant of the downtown area. It will allow the
City to plan, look ahead, budget, and improve streets within
this quadrant in an efficient manner.
In accordance with our scope of work the Council approved,
we have identified drainage areas, estimated flows, and
reviewed possible infiltration basin locations with Mike Loven.
There are local low areas in this quadrant, but they are on
privately owned land. After reviewing possible nearby City
owned land locations, the closest is/will be the Paul Bunyan
Trail and the existing Highway 371/Patriot Avenue south of
East Woodman Street. Attached is a sketch for your review.
Council Action Requested: Council consensus to proceed
with this layout and prepare an estimated cost.
