The purpose of this grant was to purchase a hydraulic ram <br />for our rescue tools. If we do not use the money for the purpose requested, we will not <br />receive the grant. <br />`.. The total cost of the ram is approximately $5,000.00. We will be using the $2,500 from the <br />AgStar grant and $2,500 from our pancake fundraiser to purchase this tool. <br />Action required: <br />#1 Accept grant from AgStar in the amount of $2,500 to the PLFD. <br />#2 Approve purchasing of hydraulic ram through Alex Air — authorized Hurst dealer for MN <br />*we cannot get 2 quotes as they are the only dealer in MN, it would not make sense to go to <br />a dealer outside MN — as they would direct us back to our dealer in MN to purchase.
