ABSENT: None. ;, <br /> CITY PLANNER: Justin Burslie, NJPA <br /> ZONING SPECIALIST: Dawn Bittner <br /> COUNCIL LIAISON: Nancy Adams <br /> Chair Engels called the meeting to order at 6:00 6:00 /14..maod opened the Public Hearings. <br /> Public Hearings: " <br /> APPLICANT: Cityot Lakes <br /> Applicant proposes an Ordinance Ad 'e ent eating a "Public"Zoning <br /> Classification 7`% <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Staff Report. Thisamendment was initiated by the City and <br /> creates a new zoning classification,the Public zie. City property is located in several <br /> zoning 4asstficatiohs.; Staff used the Downtown Mixed Use classification for the <br /> specifions. <br /> 77/ <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: None. <br /> Planning Commission Member Hallan questioned the screening requirements. One <br /> hundred percent screening from residential properties and 50%from roads and non- <br /> residential parcels maybe excessive. Mr. Burslie pointed out that the requirements <br /> would be for new development, not existing. He suggested reducing the requirements to <br /> 50% and 10%, respectively. <br /> Planning Commission Member Habein asked if a timeframe could be added. Mr. <br /> Burslie stated this ordinance amendment is only for City-owned property.
