The City is required to adopt <br /> floodplain management regulations by August 15. The <br /> DNR provided the text for the attached Ordinance <br /> Amendment to Article 6 Overlay Districts and District <br /> Provisions. The City Attorney has reviewed the <br /> amendment and the Planning Commission unanimously <br /> recommends the City Council adopt the Floodplain <br /> Management Ordinance. <br /> Council Action Requested: <br /> A. Motion to adopt the Floodplain Management Ordinance. <br /> B. Motion for summary publication. <br /> C. Adopt the Resolution to Apply to Participate in the National Flood <br /> Insurance Program. <br />
