Section 7-2.8. PENALTY. Any person convicted of violating any provisions of <br /> this Chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. <br /> Finally, in the event of a violation of any provision of Chapter 17 of the City Code, the City, in <br /> addition to other remedies, may act or institute action to prevent, restrain, correct, or abate such <br /> violation or threatened violation. <br /> The applicable City Code provisions referenced above are available for your review at the <br /> following weblink: <br /> http://www.pequotlakes-mn.gov/index.asp?SEC=7927ECFC-BF3 E-4F84-A39C- <br /> 930C4EA9227D&Type=B BASIC. <br /> Corrective Action <br /> If you wish to avoid the above-described enforcement actions by the City,please correct the <br /> code violations and public nuisance conditions on the Property by no later than 4:00 p.m., <br /> Friday,August 22,2014, by doing the following: <br /> 1. Remove or properly store all items currently stored outside; <br /> 2. Move the recreational vehicle to a location a minimum of ten feet away from any <br /> lot line; and <br /> 3. Dispose of or burn the pile of brush/branches. <br /> Failure to timely take each of the actions enumerated above to correct the code violations and <br /> public nuisance conditions on the Property will result in the City initiating the above- <br /> summarized legal enforcement processes against you, up to and including referring this matter to <br /> the City's prosecuting attorney to initiate criminal prosecution for each documented violation of <br /> the City Code described above. <br /> Please contact the City Zoning Administrator, Dawn Bittner, at(218) 568-2354 if you have any <br /> questions about this Notice or wish to discuss this matter further. <br /> Your prompt attention to this matter is necessary to forestall further legal action against you by <br /> the City. <br />
