Part Time Pay- <br />I would like to increase the pay for our part time officers to the starting wage of police officer. Part time <br />officers are as capable as any of our fulltime officers; they help the department resolve scheduling <br />conflicts resulting in less overtime pay. Breezy Point and Crosby Police Departments pay their part time <br />officers the same as their fulltime officers. <br />The monies for this increase in pay would come from allocated funds from the police general <br />fund /wages. <br />
