1 MAR 2 3 2017
OBSIDIAN -
By
March 8,2017
Dear Members of City Council,
We are the property owners of Pequot Terrace Estates Mobile Home Park. In the month of December,we began to
notice an increase in our water usage. This prompted us to do an onsite inspection for any signs of a water leak;we located no
obvious signs of a leak at that time.In January, our water usage was significantly increased and it was clear to us that we had a
water leak somewhere on the property.Again,we were unable to locate any obvious signs of a leak such as standing water,
icy spots or running water. We worked with the city and multiple local contractors over the past few months in an attempt to
locate this leak.We are happy to report that the leak was finally located on March 1,2017 and repaired on March 6,2017.
We are asking the City Council to review our water and sewer usage from December 2016 to March 6,2017 and
consider a partial refund of sewer fees paid during this period. During this time, the water that was leaking into the ground
was not being introduced to the sewer system. We appreciate your consideration of this request. We would also like to
extend our thanks to Patrick and Deb with the City of Pequot Lakes who were very helpful as we worked through this issue.
Sinc rety,
(--474/eLl'14.a3Ch
Chris and Ronda Disch
Obsidian Enterprises, LLC I PO Box 29 I Elk River, MN 55330
Phone 309-306-1811
