Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. January Permits: The following permits were issued over the last <br /> month by the Zoning Department: <br /> 1. Paul and Angela Sandelin, 4451 East Woodman Street, amending Land Use <br /> Permit 16-85; <br /> 2. Michael Jennings, 3920 West Grove Street,stairs to lake. <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since <br /> the last meeting: <br /> 1. December 21 letter to Chris and Ronda Disch regarding the Ordinance <br /> Amendment regarding Manufactured and Pre-Build Housing Development; <br /> 2. February 1 letter to the Mayor and City Council regarding the monthly <br /> Planning Commission Report; <br /> C. Council Meeting Notes: <br /> An excerpt from the January 3 Council Meeting are included: <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The December 28, 2016 Planning Commission Report was received by <br /> Council. <br /> 6.2. Planning Commission Meeting Liaisons <br /> Dawn Bittner informed the Council of the 2017 Council Liaison Schedule for <br /> attendance at Planning Commission meetings. <br /> 6.3. Planning Department Year-End Report <br /> Dawn Bittner presented the Year End Report for the Planning and Zoning <br /> Department. She highlighted the following for 2016. <br /> • Several ordinance amendments were made to create more flexibility for <br /> property owners. <br /> • 87% of land use applications received were handled by City Staff. <br /> • There were 20 permits issued for new homes, with only 2 of those issued for <br /> Wilderness Resort Villas. <br /> • The number of septic permits issued increased which is an encouraging trend. <br /> • The number of outstanding violations and enforcement actions continues to <br /> decrease. <br /> Mayor Adams stated the number of land use applications handled by City <br /> Staff is very impressive. <br /> February 16, 2017 Staff Report Page 1 <br />
