City of
-
Pequott
Lakes—
AGENDA ITEM #10.2
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Date: August 2, 2011
Subiect: RFP Highway 11 Corridor Study
Report: Tim Bray has released the attached RFP Highway
11 Corridor Study. Tim has indicated that there will be no
monetary participation requirement from the City for the
RFP. This will involve a high level planning effort with the
County, School District and the Cities of Breezy Point and
Pequot Lakes which will be led by the Consultant to be
hired by the County.
Per Tim Houle: I believe I have mentioned this
previously, but WSN, in a team effort with SRF, submitted
a proposal to the County with a different engineer in our
office (Dave Reese) being the WSN team member with the
County. We see our knowledge of the area and of the City
as a benefit in a County study such as this. The Council
should note that this Corridor Study process will involve
periodic meetings between City representatives and the
County team. I can envision the City using several of their
" staff members as the primary representatives at meetings
