If <br /> Pequot <br /> ICS <br /> NEW BUSINESS-TINY HOUSE MOVEMENT <br /> Agenda Item: 6 (a) <br /> Background Information: <br /> Tiny House Luminary and Brainerd native Beth Ann "B.A." Norrgard will tell us <br /> her story of transition (from working in downtown Dallas law firm to living in a <br /> 78 sq.ft. house that she hand built) and then talk about the tiny house movement <br /> and her dream for a tiny house community. <br /> She is a passionate advocate for being free to live a larger life in a smaller space, <br /> and lives by example. She a founding member of the Tiny House Collaborative, <br /> and blogs at www.aBedOverMyHead.com/blog. <br /> Since August 2014 she has traveled over 8,000 miles with her house, exhibiting, <br /> speaking,teaching workshops and consulting on living small. In October 2016 <br /> she was one of the presenters at the ICC Conference presenting on having tiny <br /> houses on foundations incorporated into the Residential Building Code.
