If the Council wants to proceed into final design, WSN will <br />prepare a proposal for the Council for their consideration at <br />their September 6 meeting. <br />Prior to accepting the proposal from WSN for a final <br />design, the Council should consider holding a special work <br />session with a financial consultant to consider the funding <br />options available to fund this project. <br />Schedule -wise, the big picture was to complete design this <br />year, bid over the winter, and be ready for whatever level <br />of construction the City might want to pursue in early 2012. <br />`. Council Action Requested: Council decision on whether <br />or not to proceed with the Government Drive project. <br />If the Council moves to proceed, a special meeting should <br />be considered to discuss funding options. <br />OWE <br />
