After formation of the community input committee(formed by the City by mid-February,will include Park Board and <br /> City Council and community members), Committee will meet to review approved master plan and discuss options for <br /> furnishings,fixtures and other site elements to help define the character of the park.SAS can offer guidance to help steer <br /> the discussions through electronic communication concerning decisions which must be made,and options available. <br /> 2. Committee will summarize meeting outcomes and provide this information to SAS. SAS will incorporate the <br /> Committees ideas into the Design Development plans where possible and create a package of site furnishings following <br /> the committee's recommendations. <br /> 3. SAS will consult with a Splash Park designer/supplier to develop Splash Park recommendations and,following approval, <br /> plans for the splash Pad <br /> 4. SAS can present these Design Development plans back to the committee,Park Board and Council for approval,either in <br /> person(as an extra service)or in electronic format. <br /> 5. Following approval,SAS will complete construction documents for Phase 1.Elements to be included—Splash Pad water <br /> play element, parking improvements, and main walk with flags through the site. We will include plans, details and <br /> specifications needed for bidding Phase I. <br /> Schedule: <br /> • Committee formation,meeting and recommendations back to SAS by February 24,2017 <br /> • SAS to develop Design Development plans and fixture and furnishing package for review and approval by <br /> March 24th,2017 for review by City <br /> • Following approval of Design Development Plans,SAS will complete plan set by April 286,2017. <br /> Unknowns that may affect schedule— <br /> Traffic Study and any needed review and changes <br /> City's meeting/approval schedule <br /> 1 <br /> Landscape <br /> Architecture <br /> Site +Urban Design <br />
